Myself and a lot of my Facebook friends are getting a lot of invitations to events with shady titles that are just another attempt by scammers to get you to join their pages or applications.
If you are getting these, here is what you can do. Go to your events from your profile page.
Click on "See All Invites" located at the bottom of the events that show on the page. All of your event invitations will now appear and be listed as in the first image above. Now click on "Respond".
You will then get this pop-up window and given the options of "Attending", "Maybe Attending" and "Not Attending". Don't click on any of this and look at the bottom left corner and click on "Remove this event".
You will then get a verification pop-up and all you need to do is click on "Remove". You can select ignore invites from the person who sent it to you but according to this post by Misty of Mistyfied Mafia Wars & Pimping, it's not your friends fault you got this invitation.
If you to to the event page of the scam group there is more that you can do.
Go to the bottom of the event page and you can remove it and there is also an option to report it.
If you click on the links that are usually on these pages, it will take you to the scammers Facebook page. From there you can also report the page. Hopefully Facebook will do something about this as well as the phototagging that we are constantly exposed to. It's bad enough that we have to deal with all the spam of Mafia Wars and all these Facebook scam spam is really making the gaming experience not as enjoyable.
